Alison Webster

"All my professional life has been geared towards bringing about social change. I know from experience that systems change when people change, and people change when they are moved, emotionally, by the experience of others. Music and the arts can move people in a way that rational argument cannot. That's why I support Amaka's vision to change the world by telling stories, and to help people express their stories through the creative arts."

Alison Webster currently works as an adviser on social issues to the Church of England Diocese of Oxford.
